Small Changes = Big Rewards

From the minute we are born our brains are being programmed by adults, don’t do that, don’t do this, that’s right, that’s wrong, the list goes on. Parents all over the world programming their children’s minds with what they believe is right. Like a computer the information is stored in the memory and is repeated day in day out, over and over again. Once programmed it is sometimes hard to change our life we consider normal.

However, by looking at ways of improving the mind can only bring the dreams we have one step closer to reality. With small changes we can all improve the way we live. If we sit back and live the life we have been given it will always stay the same.

Achieving can become addictive, as a smoker for most of my life and tried to pack up more times than one can remember. There were plenty of reasons to quit, children, the cost and health were the top ones. However I always could find a good excuse to start again, an argument with the wife, a special occasion, down the pub with other smokers that was good enough reason.

Then One day and I still don’t know why, I woke up and decided I wasn’t going to smoke again, there wasn’t a last one or last puff I just stopped. I did that 3 years ago, packing up was so easy once I got it into my head.

My head is now programmed to believe that I don’t need them, and since stopping I have continued to look for the next challenge. 3 years ago I would have loved to know how to turn on a computer, I now own 3 of them and have a built a number of websites too! I am always on the look out to find ways of improving myself.

Talking to people is one of my favourite past times but for some reason I get nervous when I have to stand up in front of people and make a speech, that is what I have made my project at the moment, so when I officially marry the woman I already call my wife, I will be able to stand up in front of a crowd and tell everyone how much I love her, without stumbling around for words.

By slowly changing the way our minds are programmed, it is possible to achieve almost anything in life, with confidence and self-belief more and more people are getting out of life what they have only ever dreamed about before.

Gain Confidence With Hypnosis

Does the thought of having to give a presentation fill you with dread? Or the idea of going out, fill you with fear? What would having confidence and feeling good mean to you? What difference would it make to your life? When you start to think about your place in the world and it is a confident you that is being presented, you begin to think differently, thinking differently allows you to hold your physical body differently. When you think and hold yourself in a confident way you begin to emit an aura, a frequency as it were, of being confident and assured and others are drawn to that. It is as though a switch was turned on inside you and you attract others who you can see from their demeanour see you as being confident and assured.

You know how you can meet some people and they absolutely drain you and you feel exhausted when they leave (and your mind set and your body stance is down) – that is because they are actually sucking your energy to feed their negativity. Take a moment to observe where in your head that memory came from. Now, think of someone who gives you energy and radiates fun and joy and you feel so uplifted that you walk talker and have a smile on your face. What is happening is that when we meet people who are giving and receiving energy, we are actually uplifted mentally and physically and this radiates to the next people we met. (Now where is that feeling in your head.) Those who suck energy, they just take the energy, they do not give anything back. Think of someone you know that is confident. (Remember, this is about developing your own style of confidence to fit with your beliefs.) Imagine a band of energy around that person. See how they draw others to them. Confidence is power.

With hypnosis, you have the key to unlock the power of your own mind. If you have allowed yourself to feel unconfident and meek, you have allowed outside forces to determine your behaviour because you felt you had no choice. But there is always choice – you can choice to feel confident or you can choice to feel miserable. If there is a voice inside your head worrying about what other people think, whose voice is it and anyway, most people are thinking the exact same thing. It is only natural to want to be accepted by the group but you must be who you truly are – this is the way to contentment and happiness. With the key to your mind, you reprogramme your mind to how you want to be. Just as you would reprogramme your computer, you must give your mind the sequence of steps (the codes) so that it knows what to do. This means how your thoughts must be, the way you hold your body, the way you speak and move. The mind will do whatever it can to maintain the status quo so it is important to strengthen the new coding by using it as much as possible whether in reality or in your mind. Mental rehearsal is as good as practical rehearsal. It is giving your mind the picture of how you want to be. You find that it won’t be as strong today as it is going to be tomorrow but each day it becomes stronger and stronger until finally one day confidence has become a habit.

Repressed Anger Resolution With Hypnosis

When anger is repressed, it is accompanied by self destructive thoughts and a feeling of dissatisfaction. The loss of self esteem is of central importance to those suffering from depression (repressed anger can lead to depression). Boys are taught to release their anger and girls are taught it is the social norm to contain their anger. Both sexes may repress their anger to such an extent that become people pleasers or “smilers” – without any outward sign of what they truly feel. With hypnosis, in a relaxed state, the client learns three things necessary for those with repressed anger issues: how to relieve the anger, change their trigger thoughts and be assertive. A feeling of inadequacy related to low self esteem can add to the anger. It is a never ending cycle of negative thoughts, feelings of hostility inside with the stress of a happy facade which can eat the sufferer up inside. If you deny your anger what physical manifestations does it produce? Headaches, pains and aches, irritable bowel syndrome can be caused as a result of repressed anger and stress. How was angered demonstrated in your home. Sometimes we can either mirror our parents or do the opposite. Your anger can be more a reflection on how you feel about yourself – feelings of inferiority, not being quite good enough but with gentle reprogramming you can improve your self esteem. When you are really angry at someone, are your truly angry at them or do they remind you of someone from your past that made your angry or are you projecting your anger at yourself onto someone else. If your anger has ever caused you to lash out physically at someone or an animal, then you need to address why inflicting fear or physical pain on someone gives you a release.

While it would be lovely for this inner anger to be magically swept away, it is not possible to remove this repressed anger until we know what function it has. All habits, emotions have a role to play and if we leave a gap without knowing what caused the emotion in the first place, then something worse could take its place. Once we identify the function of the repressed anger, we can discover better, more positive ways of behaving. The life you want for yourself where you can feel truly happy and content, with a new assertiveness has to be more exciting to you than the live you are living now – at all emotional and physical levels. We need to understand the neurology of the mind. You know that repressing anger is just as bad as lashing out physically – someone is getting hurt either emotionally or physically. With hypnosis you can learn how to break the unwanted habit of not standing up for oneself while feeling the full force of the anger inside and develop a new connection of self assertion without holding on to anger, without anger even developing. What different would this make to your life, what difference would it make to those around you, family and friends. Before making the change, you must take a detailed look at your life, what is the cost of staying the same and what will you gain by making the change – get ready to improve your life with hypnosis.

Work-Life Balance – What Does It Really Mean?

How to balance work life and personal life – this is a question and issue that many people face. However, the first question that should be asked is – “what does work-life balance really mean?”

In some cases the term “work-life balance” has been come to mean flexible work schedules and telecommuting to allow employees to spend more time at home. In the current economic climate, companies are reevaluating these policies and in some cases are eliminating these work alternatives. People who have seen these perks taken away now feel that their work-life balance has been disrupted. I would like to put a different slant on this issue that makes company policies irrelevant.

First, a little math:

Hours in a week168 hours
Time spent going to, at, and coming from work50 hours
Sleep ( 8 hours/night )56 hours
Time remaining for personal life 62 hours

Obviously, the numbers could change slightly based on personal situations, but most people have about the same or a little more time for personal activities as they do for work activities. Therefore, I don’t think feelings of being out of balance have anything to do with time spent.

The real issue is focus and alignment. Just as time management is not a time management issue, but rather a goals clarification issue, the same can be said for work-life balance issues. Most people work in organizations that have goals and objectives. People apply their energy towards the achievement of organizational goals. Effective organizations achieve a high degree of alignment between the daily activities of each person and the long term goals of the organization.

The problem is that most people don’t do this in their personal life. The 62 hours per week they have for their personal life is consumed by an unfocused set of activities not aligned with any personal long term goals or personal mission. The key to achieving work-life balance is not spending less time at work and more time at home, but rather having a clear set of personal goals to work towards. Sense of accomplishment and self worth comes from completing short term goals and actions which lead to the attainment of longer term goals and ultimately our dreams.

Individuals can create focus by defining the most important things that they want to accomplish outside of their work life. Consider areas such as family, community involvement, friends, hobbies, and spiritual development. The better the focus, the easier it is to align personal activities with the focus. With alignment, we are better able to prioritize activities and to simplify our lives. We can make better decisions of what to say no to and what to let go.

A place to start is to identify or two personal goals that are important to you. Then make a conscious decision to spend a certain amount of time each day and week working towards the achievement of the goal. One area that a lot of people express a desire to improve is their physical health and well-being. Often I hear the excuse of “I just don’t have the time to exercise”. This statement is only true if the person is planning to exercise more than 62 hours each week. When you put 30 minutes a day, for three or four times a week, against the total available time for personal activities, there is plenty of time. This is true of just about any personal goal that we want to achieve.

The Art of Loving Yourself

We are all guilty of judging ourselves negatively by saying how we could be more attractive, more successful, taller, thinner, shorter, etc. Many of us forget to take a look at the things that make us unique, and separate us from the world that imposes these stereotypes on us. It’s important to remember that when we think about how we can “improve” our exterior qualities, we are basing our efforts on someone else’s qualities to try and match them. When you say, “I wish I was skinnier”, you’re saying this because you’ve been taught to believe that being skinny is directly associated with being beautiful. The advertisements and entertainment we are subject to on a daily basis puts an image into our head to tell us what beauty is, and what it looks like. It’s time for you to break free from these notions and love the inner you.

Start by telling yourself that you <em>are</em> special. Sometimes we forget that we are actually entirely unique. There is only one person in the world with your qualities, your imagination, and your spirit. Uniqueness is a pure form of beauty that you bring to the world every single day. You have your laugh, your smile, your voice, and your thoughts; these are all things unique to you, to be had by no one else. A common phrase is “if everyone is special, no one is”. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We <b>are</b> all, in fact, special in our own way. Just look at yourself, you’re living proof!

Now tell yourself that you’re beautiful.  The next time you look in the mirror, look past the outer details, and inside to who you truly are as a person. Never forget that you were created entirely unique, and what you have to offer to the world is yet to be explored. Once you learn to love yourself, your potential is astronomical, and your self esteem will begin to soar. The media throws a lot of stereotypical garbage your way. Don’t be blinded by Hollywood’s idea of beauty, as it has more to do with money than it does with truly being beautiful. From birth, you were truly beautiful, the world just makes that very easy to forget.

The 3 Unknown Laws of The Subconscious Mind

The laws of the subconscious mind which are practically unknown or at least have
Never been named before are The Subconscious Mind’s Law of Defense, The Subconscious Mind’s Law of Pleasure and The Subconscious Mind’s Law of Desire.

The Fist law – The Law of Defense states that any you think, say, do or imagine will always get filtered by your subconscious mind’s defensive filters. That means that your subconscious mind will always bring up any danger with reference to what you are thinking, imagining, doing, or wanting to do or experience. The good news is that we can leverage this law by applying some technique which will eliminate what the subconscious mind brings up for us.

The Second Law – The Law of Pleasure states that your subconscious mind is always following a deep inner order to always feel and/ or find what is determined as pleasurable according to your beliefs. Understanding this law is vital to be able to link pleasure to what you most desire. It helps to have the absolute and clear understanding that you must link pleasure to your goals. The can be a skill that is very easy to learn -more on that later.

The Third Law – The Law of Desire states that you are literally able to re-wire your brain and nervous system in your body because of the direct control your subconscious mind has over the body. What you desire can and will be adapted to the body if it is clear and takes in to consideration the subconscious mind primary concerns, your safety.

These are the three laws that are consciously used with a technique known as cueing the subconscious mind. A cue word is used to prompt the subconscious mind to eliminate any limiting emotions that are resisting what you desire. It is an intention based technique that combines your desire for something positive, such as being at peace with a certain part of your life while at the same time repeating a cue word which has the imbedded intention to removed any subconscious emotion resisting your desire.

Understanding this breakthrough cueing technique and the 3 Laws can put you in the driver’s seat of your subconscious mind like never before.

Clearing Negative Energy From Healing Crystals

Healing crystals and minerals are a lot like rechargeable batteries. The crystal, whether it be on your shelf, in a crystal grid, or hanging from your earlobes, has absorbed massive amounts of negative energy and the energy of everything else that has gone on around it.

This wears down the effectiveness of the crystal’s healing energies. You eventually have to clear the collected negative energy from the crystal or mineral and then recharge or reprogram it. There are several methods of doing this and they are all simple.

1. Rinse the crystal or stone under running water and then leave in the sun for a few hours. Be aware that the color in some crystals can fade if left too long in the sun.

2. Bury your crystals and minerals in earth, in a filled flower pot or in your garden. Be sure to mark the spot so you don’t forget where you buried them! Leave the stones for a few days and then dig them out. Gently brush off the dirt. Your crystals and minerals are now humming with beneficial Earth energy.

3. You could clean the stones in a bowl of salt water. Be careful not to leave your stones in the salt water for too long as salt can degrade crystals and minerals.

Here’s a tip: Try soaking yourself in a salt bath after a stressful day. By this I mean empty an entire carton of table salt into a hot bath. Soak in the saltwater bath for several minutes. Do not soap up! Just soak. Afterward shower and wash as you normally do. You will emerge from that shower feeling reborn because the salt cleaned the negative energy from your physical and energy bodies. Try it! I guarantee you will be amazed at how much better you feel afterward.

4. Using sound is another effective method of clearing negative energy from crystals and minerals. Sound waves are highly effective in clearing negative energy from crystals, minerals, and entire rooms. If you play an instrument then set your crystals and minerals close to the instrument while you play (preferably not a screaming electric guitar!).

If you do not play an instrument then try playing gentle music on your stereo, wind chimes, or a tuning fork. You could place your crystals and minerals inside a glass bowl, wet your finger, and then run your finger along the rim of the bowl to make it tone. Do this for 2 to 5 minutes, or the length of the average song.

Clear your crystals and minerals at least once a month to keep them emitting strong healing energies.

Thought is energy. Intent is energy. When you think of an intention you create energy, and that energy is absorbed by your crystals and minerals. This is how you will program your crystals or minerals for their intended purpose.

After clearing your crystals and minerals hold each crystal or mineral in your hands and think to yourself the reason you use it. If you use the stone as protection against EMF emissions then think, “I intend to use this crystal as protection against EMF emissions”. If you use, say, amethyst to help your mind to focus and to remain calm then think, “I intend to use this amethyst to help my mind to focus and to remain calm”.

That’s it!Try to clean and recharge your crystal and mineral “batteries” at least once a month.

Mother Nature has provided us with tools we can use to protect ourselves from, well, ourselves, and some of those tools are right at our feet. These tools, though, need care to keep working to the best of their ability. Clearing and programming your crystals and minerals is an essential process as simple as a thought intention.

Self Esteem – Tips on How to Build Self Confidence

Self esteem is all about how you feel about yourself. It can be established in an individual from childhood. There are occasions when parents fail to build high esteem in their children and it is encouraging to learn that one can enhance how they feel about themselves even in adulthood. It may be difficult at first but with time and commitment, one gradually gets used to the idea.

To build your self esteem, you will need to enrich your knowledge base so that you do not fear having conversations with people who seem to know more than you do. This means that you will have to read widely and attend conferences where you will have a chance to interact with people and gauge your confidence.

Dressing smartly, observing personal hygiene and practicing etiquette will also boost one’s self esteem. We basically feel good about ourselves when we look good. This is the reason why we try to make a first impression at an interview by dressing smartly.

It is also advisable to read motivational books as they encourage one to continue to pursue their goal of achieving high self esteem. In some cases, these books introduce a role model that would be ideal to emulate. Through examples, motivational materials may give someone ideas on how to be more confident.

A journey of many miles does begin with a step thus it is important to note that self esteem cannot be built in a day. One needs to constantly evaluate the progress they have made in having high self esteem and set higher targets until they are comfortable with their outlook.

How to Cure Fear with EFT

Are irrational fears and phobias keeping you from living the life you want? Did you know that with the right tools you can overcome fear and phobias to live the life you want and deserve? One of these powerful tools is called Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT. Let’s talk about how you can use the power of EFT to cure fear.

The popularity of EFT is growing among alternative health practitioners for several reasons. First, EFT works on many conditions. It isn’t a practice that is confined to those with fears and phobias to cure. Second, the techniqes are so simple that children can and do quickly master them. Third, it works!

Behind the techniques of EFT is the belief that most of our problems are caused by unresolved emotional issues. Clearing blocked energy paths in your body allows you to resolve those emotional problems and the physical problems that they cause.

Whether you subscribe to the notion that your illnesses are primarily caused by emotional issues or not, the important thing to realize is that the EFT techniques are impressively effective.

To perform EFT, you simply use two fingers to lightly tap certain parts of your body, while thinking relevant thoughts that will counter the fear. If this sounds too simple to be true, don’t worry. Just because it is simple doesn’t mean it can’t work! The key is knowing exactly where to tap (there are several points you can use), how to create a Setup Statement that applies to your situation, and then how to properly complete a round of tapping. Master these things and you’ll know everything you need to know to start using EFT in your own life.

Try Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and see for yourself. Control of your fear could be just a few taps away.

And don’t forget that this is only one of the techniques you can use to cure fear and end phobias. There are many more you can try. If you would like to learn more about how to apply this technique as well as learn about 21 more tools that can help you cure fear permanently, please CLICK HERE.
